This Modular Sofa Is What I’d Imagine It’s Like To Lie on a Puffy Cotton Ball
If there’s one thing I take pride in, it’s my couch. I searched high and low for the perfect piece — I was looking for character, texture, and a bold color. I found all of that in a vintage, corduroy, tufted couch; it was a dream come true. However, the balloon burst when my rabbit, Tiffanie, decided that she liked the sofa, too, but as a snack.
Still, it pained me to think about my living room without the couch as it was such a statement, but on the other hand, I knew I’d want to keep the sofa for a long time. I silently decided that I wouldn’t move the couch into storage until the right one came along. That’s when I was offered to test 25Home’s Lunna Modular Sofa.

Design Features That Stand Out
I’ve always thought RH’s Cloud Couch looked like the dreamiest place to watch a movie, and so even though the 80-inch Lunna Modular Sofa is striking in its simplicity (different from my previous couch), it caught my attention because it looks similar to the RH version.
While the couch’s style leans toward a minimal and modern aesthetic, and only comes in a stark white, that doesn’t mean it’s basic. Details like the extra-large, padded armrest and base are such a unique feature that I’ve never experienced before. The armrests are so wide that you can store books on them, a food tray, and even have someone perch on top of them. It’s also low to the ground, making it look like it melts into the floor.
There’s a sense of freedom that the modular aspect provides, too. It’s nice to know that in one setting, I could have two separate, oversized chairs, or I could have a traditional sofa. Putting them together was straightforward enough, as you just hook a latch on the bottom of one side of the seats to the other.
How Home25’s Lunna Modular Sofa Performed
Home25’s Lunna Modular Sofa is so comfortable, it literally feels like you’re lying on a puffy cotton ball. All of the cushions are supersoft and mold to my comfort. At least three people could comfortably sit on the two-seater sofa. However, another reason that the couch interested me was that it looked wide enough to transform into a bed by removing the cushions. We host a lot of guests, and since having it, we’ve had three different people sleep on it and remark at how comfortable it is.
While I love that the covers are removable, it’s somewhat of a bummer that they’re not able to be machine-washed. Truthfully, that’s one of the reasons I was interested in the first place, because I thought that would be a possibility. After reading more, I realized that it’s best to clean the cushions without water and to attend to stains immediately. The stark white color has led to some stains (we have two pets after all), but it’s encouraged us to be more diligent about cleaning regularly using a stain remover.
What we love
- Comfort: This couch feels like a dream, it's so plush and comfortable, and I sometimes need to force myself to get up.
- Customization: The modular aspect is freeing, knowing that I can essentially create two types of furniture setups.
- Assembly: Putting the couch together was such a breeze.
Good to know
- The cushions aren't machine washable.
Should You Buy Home25’s Lunna Modular Sofa?
If you love comfort and sprawling out for movie marathons or while reading a good book (who doesn’t?), this is the couch for you. While the style is more modern, the white makes it easy to blend in with any room or design style. My current living room style is mid-century modern, and the sofa works wonderfully.
