Aldi Is Selling Iridescent Glasses That Are 4x Cheaper Than Similar Cups
It seems like there’s always another cute glassware going viral that I must add to the collection — and there are no complaints here. For example, HomeGoods was trending for selling vintage-looking glasses last week that looked so much more expensive than their low price tag. If you’ve had an itch for new glassware but missed out on the HomeGoods ones, you’ll want to run to Aldi ASAP. The grocery store has beaded, iridescent lowball glasses in stock in the “aisle of shame” right now.
The lowball glasses were spotted and shared by Ashley from the Oh Hey, Aldi Instagram account. Her story also had a matching hobnail pitcher, which would be great for lemonade or pre-mixed cocktails!
The Crofton Lowball Glasses at Aldi Look So Fancy
The set of four iridescent beaded lowball glasses from the Crofton brand is available for just under $10. Back in June, the store also had a set of matching iridescent highball glasses, so you can collect the entire set for under $20 if your Aldi still has both sizes in stock.
These glasses look just like the Fortessa Jupiter glasses that are sold at other higher-end decor stores, including World Market. Glasses at these stores usually go for $10 each, but Aldi has the full set for $9.99.
If your store is already out of stock, you can actually find the Fortessa Jupiter glasses on Amazon. A set of six glasses will set you back $60, which is much more of an investment compared to the Crofton version. But the Fortessa glasses are super sturdy and reviewers say they’re “comfortable to hold” thanks to the beaded hobnail design.
“Don’t feel like they will slip out of my hand,” the same reviewer continued. “More sturdy than my last glass set. Wide base so won’t tip as easily. I like the weight of the glass. I’m happy with my purchase.”
Run to your nearest Aldi to see if the iridescent lowball glasses are in stock, and you may just happen upon the score of the century!
