For all its magic and wonder, winter has some obvious downsides — like dark, dreary days, and cold and flu season, to name a few. To help with the winter sniffles, I always keep a box of tissues in my apartment. Essential as they are, though, tissues aren’t the most aesthetically pleasing item. Which is why I immediately fell in love with this Scallop Printed Tissue Box Cover from Anthropologie. It turns an everyday eyesore into home decor, and gives my apartment — which can feel a bit drab and lifeless during the wintertime — a pop of color and whimsy.

What Is the Inner Child Scallop Printed Tissue Box?

The Scallop Printed Tissue Box is a cotton-paper cover that turns a regular tissue box into the cutest decorative accent. Available in four stylish block prints and finished with a stylish scalloped trim, it brings some much-needed brightness and color to a utilitarian household item. And because it’s handmade, every tissue box cover is unique, so it brings an element of whimsy and charm to any spot in the house — whether it’s your nightstand or coffee table. There’s even a matching waste basket, and I can confirm that it’s adorable.

What Anthropologie Shoppers Are Saying

“This cover adds so much personality to an everyday item! The prints are adorable and add a hand-crafted look, and the scalloped edge is such a cute touch.” ––ALAnthroInsider

Reviews are still rolling in, but people have positive things to say about the Scallop Printed Tissue Box Cover so far. Its $60 price point is a bit of a splurge, but the cover is so cute and design-forward, it just might convince me to keep a box of tissues out on display year-round.
