It’s Barbie’s world, and we’re all living in it.

With the release of Greta Gerwig’s live-action Barbie movie, the iconic Mattel doll officially has everyone in her well-manicured grips, with #Barbiecore going viral on both TikTok and Instagram over the past year. Trending in everything from fashion and makeup to home decor, Barbiecore is all about channeling Barbie’s signature chic style using her trademark color: pink.

While Barbiecore fashion is pretty much drenched in pink, Barbiecore decor is a bit more nuanced. The pinks are accompanied by other bright and cheery colors like purple, turquoise, orange, and sunshine yellow for balance. Luxe finishes, like marble and other sleek metals, can be found throughout #Barbiecore furnishings, along with glamorous fabrics like velvet, fur, and silk. The design, like the doll herself, is retro yet modern, with the aesthetic falling somewhere in between mid-century modern and Hollywood Regency with a touch of maximalism thrown in for good measure.

As has been the case over the years, trends come and go, and keeping up with the latest look can be tough to do sustainably and affordably. If you’re thinking about trying out Barbiecore in your home, though, allow me to suggest one of these 10 timeless Barbiecore pieces you won’t regret as soon as the movie leaves theaters.

Dreamhouse Dania Bed
$1,519

Official “Barbie” collaborations are rampant, but the Joybird x Barbie assortment is a can’t-miss for diehard Dreamhouse fans. My pick from the range? The Dreamhouse Dania Bed. Featuring a soft, upholstered frame and a curved silhouette, this cozy bed frame will add style and comfort to your sleep space. It’s available in three different colors and four different sizes, so you can take your pick. If you’re dedicated to pink, grab it in the Dreamhouse Tourmaline or Dreamhouse Rose Quartz shades — or try the lighter Dreamhouse Pearl, as shown here, for a more neutral option.

Inspired by Barbie’s iconic 1959 chevron swimsuit, this charcoal and cream rug from Ruggable is the ultimate addition to any room where you want to go graphic underfoot and channel a little bit of Barbie charm. What I like about this piece specifically is how neutral it is and how its design has modernized the typical horizontal chevron repeat with an interlocking motif.
