Are you a renter looking for something to add uniqueness, personality and texture to a wall without damaging your home (so you can get your security deposit back)? We love the idea Alicia and her husband tried out in their bedroom — and it’s something any renter could do in a few hours on the weekend!

From Alicia:

My husband and I recently found out we are going to be staying in our apartment another year and we then decided we wanted to change up our bedroom a bit. Adding the trim design on the wall was the PERFECT solution and we love walking into our room! It took just a few hours to complete and with using 3M Command strips, it won’t leave any damage — win, win!

We bought pre-painted white wood, made a few cuts with the miter saw and actually used hot glue to make the diamonds! This was such an easy design project that any beginner DIY-er could whip up on a Saturday!

Thank you Alicia! See more of this neat DIY wall treatment on Alicia’s blog.
