Deirdre’s powder room needed a punch of color and a little style upgrade. This Charleston resident decided to go with a horse racing theme and a jewel-toned wallpaper that, when paired with the glossy beadboard, makes the space.

From Maggie:

Deidre Zahl and I met in Charleston at the Low Country Local Block Party last fall when I was visiting from Michigan to debut my coastal-inspired lifestyle brand,
Leland gal, to the south. I had already been admiring Deidre’s style as the owner of the darling shop,
Candy Shop Vintage, and immediately loved her vision to pair our Emerald Birch Lattice wallpaper with black lacquered bead board. From there, Deidre took the lead in adding in other touches to make this space fit for any lover of color and horse racing.

Thank you Maggie & Deirdre!
