Bathroom with a white clawfoot tub, black hexagonal tile floor, wooden cabinet, and a potted plant.

While the early 2020s were all about arches, I have a feeling hexagons are about to have their moment. AT’s Executive Home Director, Danielle Blundell, and Senior Home Editor, Zee Krstic, both bought hex-shaped decor recently — which can only mean it’s officially a trend.

Now that two style editors have put them on my radar, I swear I’m seeing hexagons everywhere I turn — from light fixtures to decorative accents. I’m not complaining! The shape brings a modern edge to a room, and because they’re rooted in nature they’re more timeless than you’d expect (yet another reason to love bees!). It also makes the trend easier to style, unlike the decor fads of yore (I’m looking at you, chevron). I scoured the web to find the best hexagon-shaped items you can buy right now. Keep reading for my findings.

Threshold Designed with Studio McGee Textured Velvet Hexagon Throw Pillow
$25

Throw pillows are an easy way to experiment with trends, and Danielle loves this velvet one by Studio McGee. The coral colorway adds a playful brightness to your bed or sofa, while the contrasting red piping makes for the tiniest hint of unexpected red. The olive color is already sold out, so I’d act quickly on this.

Galaxy Marble Hexagonal Coaster, Set of 2
$52$48

Zee points to his hex-shaped coasters as a low-stakes way to get in on the trend. These marble ones add modern texture to your tabletop, while the funky geometric shape is a refreshing twist on the traditional square and round options you see all the time.

Hexagon Tile Decals, 12" x 12" Sample
$10

Remember when I said hexagons are timeless? I’m sure you’ve seen this vintage-y tile motif in a bathroom before. And if you want the look without the reno, these renter-friendly peel-and-stick tiles are a safe and stylish bet. Installing them can get tedious, though, so I’d make it a weekend project.

Hexagonal capiz pieces make this pendant light look like the dreamiest disco ball. It softly diffuses the light for an intimate, cozy ambiance, and the gold framing gives it a bit of antique glamour too.

Carla Oak Coffee Table
$1,198

If you’re committed to the hexagon cause, this Anthropologie coffee table is a stunning investment. Hexagon Towel Ring
$52

This towel holder’s modern shape and brass finish will update even the most outdated bathrooms, and it looks even better with the coordinating towel bar, toilet paper holder, and hook! One Anthro review says it’s the “cutest towel rack ever.”

Honeycomb Jacquard Curtain
$79

Prefer your hexagons in small doses? The woven hexagonal pattern gives this rich copper curtain subtle (and stylish!) texture and dimension. While it’s not technically black-out, the thick cotton-blend material does help obstruct some light and sound, which is a nice bonus.

Vanity, entryway, or gallery wall — this geometric mirror brings a minimalist, architectural edge to them all. Its clean lines and cool metal finish are just right for folks who prefer to keep things simple, but still want a little pizzazz. It can be hung vertically or horizontally, too!

Wallpaper in Hexagon Tile
$129

Hear me out — hexagon-patterned wallpaper is going to be a hit. You’re basically getting the retro look of hexagonal tiles, without the grout. This Spoonflower design comes in multiple types (from peel-and-stick to pre- or non-pasted), and the soft, rosy pink hue is right on-trend. I could see it on an accent wall or in a bathroom!

Hay Hexagon Candle

Move over, tapered candles — hexagon candles are in. The geometric silhouette takes tablescapes to the next level, especially when artfully arranged in a cluster. And for only $5 a piece, why not grab all the colors?
