Anyone who knows me knows I love window shopping. It’s valuable market research for me as a shopping writer, after all. It’s also just a relaxing way to spend an afternoon — particularly in luxe, high-end stores that are normally out of my price range. One thing I’ve learned from years of hardcore browsing, though, is that there are budget-friendly finds hiding at even the bougiest of retailers, if you know where to look. I’ve found the best under-$200 pieces at Design Within Reach, for example, and now I’m focusing on West Elm

It doesn’t matter if it’s in-person or online — West Elm is one of my favorite stores to browse. There are literally thousands of chic, well-made pieces of furniture I can only dream of styling in my apartment — like sofas, coffee tables, desks, and more. But that’s not all! There are tons of surprisingly affordable decor finds just waiting to be discovered, and I took the liberty of finding them all for you.

Swapping your throw pillow covers is hands down the simplest way to refresh your decor, and West Elm has plenty. This cotton-canvas option is at the top of my list due its subtle pattern blocking and easy-to-style colorways.
