You Don’t Have to Be Pregnant to Love This Body Pillow — And It’s 25% Off Right Now
Not to brag, but I’ve been incredibly judicious about my Black Friday purchases this year. I’ve even gotten a head start on my holiday shopping by grabbing a few gifts on sale. That being said, I think I’ve earned a little treat. When I found out that Buffy — the sustainable bedding brand that makes the editor-favorite cooling comforter — was hosting a 25% off sale for its early access Black Friday sale, I knew I had to try the Wiggle Pillow. It’s been on my wish list forever! Let me explain why.
What Is the Buffy Wiggle Pillow?
Fun fact: The Wiggle Pillow was actually designed to be used during pregnancy, which makes sense because the 82-inch-long squiggle can be flexed or tied any which way to offer cushiony support wherever you need it. It’s also great if you love to feel cocooned while you sleep, like I do. Positioned between your thighs, under your neck, or held in a tight embrace, it’s the perfect snuggle pillow for all kinds of sleepers.
Buffy is known for its soft and breezy eucalyptus lyocell fabric, so it’s only fitting that the Wiggle’s washable cover is made of the same stuff, and finished with a zipper for easy on-and-off. It’s filled with recycled plastic (about 55 plastic bottles, to be exact!) and spun for extra cushion.
While the Wiggle Pillow’s included cover is soft as is, Buffy’s 19 cover options allow you to outfit your pillow in stylish textures, colors, and prints. In other words, this isn’t one of those ergonomic sleep pillows that you’ll be embarrassed to keep out on your bed. It’s as pretty as it is plush.
Why I’m into It
It’s so fluffy! But really, the Wiggle Pillow looks thick. It seems soft and snuggly, without skimping on support. And it is, according to Buffy reviewers. One shopper said it was the best thing she bought all year. Another said it replaced the four (!!) pillows she slept with before. As a side sleeper, this is music to my ears. I also think it’d offer great back support when I sit up and read in bed.
Even when you’re not gearing up for a nap, the Wiggle Pillow looks like a stylish piece of decor. It seems like no matter how you style it — tied as a knot or laid horizontally — it has a cool sculptural look that’ll elevate any bedscape.
The extensive cover options give you lots of room to play. Add texture to your bedding with an airy linen cover, or keep cozy in a bouclé-like fleece. There are rich neutral colorways, soft pastels, and even a few ditsy floral prints (my personal favorite!). Again, the pillow is stylish on its own, but the covers make it even better. So yes, I’ll be buying both now that they’re on sale.
While its original price is admittedly steep at $109, the Wiggle Pillow seems like a worthwhile investment for the comfort factor alone. Now that it’s 25% off, I’m honestly relieved to finally make it mine. It makes a great gift for the homebody in your life, too (even if that’s you!).
