Our latest peek into the fascinating real estate ventures of celebrities is the recent sale of model-entrepreneur couple Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s beachfront Malibu house. The new owner dropped $45 million on the pair’s former digs in a transaction that was finalized last month.

Crawford and Gerber originally listed the 3.2-acre property for $60 million a couple of years ago, but in September of 2017 they dropped the asking price to $50 million, which was practically the same amount they paid for the posh pad and an accompanying lot in 2015. (This was the same year the couple listed another Malibu mansion for $15.5 million, so obviously they’ve been super busy on the home-flipping front).

At a little over 5,300 square feet, the oceanfront residence was built in 1944. It has four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms and a media room. Additional standout design features span the home’s interior, including an elegant master suite that contains two bathrooms, a sitting area, double dressing closets and a fireplace.

The property also comes with a tennis court, a swimming pool, a wraparound deck with a fire pit, an open-air pavilion, direct ocean access and a three-car garage. One of the more obvious appealing aspects of the estate are the panoramic views it offers.

Crawford and Gerber are among a slew of famous homeowners to place their fancy beachfront residences on the market this year. In April, Kathie Lee Gifford asked $10.5 million for her Key Largo mansion. Around the same time, Billy Joel slashed the price tag on his South Florida mansion by $3 million, lowering the 8-bedroom, 9,000-square-foot estate to $16.9 million. Earlier this month, pop star Shakira listed her six-bedroom Miami Beach mansion for $11.6 million after she acquired the 50s-era property for $3.3 million in 2001.
