When it comes to cleaning products, I’m a sucker for anything lemon-scented. To me, it’s the perfect balance of smelling nice and clean without being overpowering. So when I got to test Cleancult’s Liquid Hand Soap in Lemon Verbena, I was in lemon heaven.

What Is the Cleancult Liquid Hand Soap in Lemon Verbena?

Cleancult’s Liquid Hand Soap in Lemon Verbena is made of natural ingredients like lemon verbena and aloe vera, so it’s ideal if you have sensitive or dry skin. It’s crafted with essential oils and is non-toxic (meaning it’s free of things like parabens, dyes, and phosphates).

It’s packaged in a completely refillable 12-ounce aluminum bottle that’s designed to be used again and again to minimize waste. Plus, there’s a large 32-ounce refill carton available, made of 100% recyclable paper-based packaging. If lemon verbena isn’t your taste, there are more hand soap scent options: water blossom, sea minerals, and wild lavender.

Why I Love the Cleancult Liquid Hand Soap in Lemon Verbena

The lemon verbena scent might have drawn me in at first, but I’m keeping this hand soap in my rotation because of its aluminum packaging and non-drying formula. As someone with sensitive and dry skin, the Cleancult hand soap is super gentle. It hasn’t dried out my hands or caused any irritations, thanks to the addition of aloe vera.

I love that you can simply refill the original 12-ounce bottle with the 32-ounce refill carton that’s recyclable. I’m about to run out, so I know I’ll have to stock up soon. Fortunately for me, Cleancult is offered in numerous retailers — Amazon, Target, the CleanCult website, and now Whole Foods — so getting my next carton won’t be any problem.
