Why is your home the smallest, coolest space?
There's nothing like walking into a charming, dusty little vintage store and squealing over dresses and trinkets laden with history and love — that's the vibe I wanted to create with my colorful, maximalist space. I think it reflects my overseas years and inner rebel, since most design in Singapore is driven by a minimalist Japandi aesthetic. I shudder and glory in my velvet sofa instead.
How does your home reflect you?
Every item in the flat has been lovingly collected or bought after much stalking, but the metal swing is my pride and joy. They’re not unique to Singapore but there's a local nostalgia to them (Grandma had one), so I was determined to have one and hunted down a grumpy local craftsman who had made these for half a century to custom-make one for me. I think I'm the only girl with one indoors!
