Outdoor patio with wooden deck, wicker furniture, hanging chair, potted plants, and a blooming tree.

Warmer weather has arrived, and you know what that means: It’s time to get to work on your outdoor space. If revamping your balcony or patio has been on your to-do list for months now, you can finally get it done this spring thanks to Costco. The bulk retailer has just the thing: click-and-lock deck tiles to make any outdoor makeover so much more cost-effective (and easy!) to complete.

No Tools Required

Just in time for outdoor season, Costco’s tiles are just $25 per box, allowing you to freshen up your backyard in a single weekend without breaking your budget or completely renovating your original decking or patio material. As long as rot isn’t an issue, you can lay these tiles down over pretty much any existing surface.

“Costco has deck tiles, and I love, love this light brown color,” Laura from the Costco Hot Finds Instagram account said in a recent video. “Each box comes with eight 12-inch tiles. These are perfect for areas like decks, patios, balconies, and walkways.”

These handy tiles are both weather- and slip-resistant, thanks to a wood-plastic composite material that looks great and stands the test of time.

“They’re also super simple to install,” Laura continued. “I actually helped a friend set these up, and they just snap together with an interlocking system. The quality is amazing. They’re durable and basically maintenance-free — and they’re just so clean and pretty looking.”

The best part? The tiles already have a fan club of DIY weekend warriors, so you know they’re a worthy buy. “I just tiled my patio deck with them! They came out beautiful,” one person commented on Laura’s post. Another said, “My husband installed them on our patio, and it looks just beautiful, just in time for spring.”

These deck tiles appear to be an in-store Costco exclusive, so head to your nearest warehouse to see if your store has them in stock. If not, Wayfair is selling a similar set of deck tiles that work exactly the same way and can be removed without leaving any residue behind, making them a great option for renters.
