This winter has felt so long. I feel like I’ve spent a year saying springtime is just around the corner. Well, folks, I think it might be finally happening.

Warmer, sunnier days are finally here — and while I’m sure there’ll be plenty of April showers, spring’s arrival is still something to celebrate. It also means time for more gardening — and these five new arrivals at Costco will help you be prepared to prune, water, and cultivate whatever plants and flowers you may be growing this season.

The New Gardening Gems at Costco

A recent Instagram Reel by @costcojacque features several new “must-have garden finds” at the warehouse chain that look well-suited to curious cultivators and gardening pros alike. Because every plant needs water, there’s a 100-foot Teknor Rapid Flo garden hose, plus a 150-foot Suncast Smart Tube hose hideaway on wheels with a side crank and a carrying handle reminiscent of a rolling suitcase. The Orbit 3-piece nozzle set adds some variety to the spray by offering one multi-pattern nozzle, one adjustable nozzle that lets you control the water power, and a wand attachment that extends your hose up to 16 inches.

As your plants grow, you may have to tame them a bit. Pruning plants, especially large or tall ones, can be tricky and tedious, but it gets a lot easier if you have some sturdy tools. The Fiskars lopper and hand pruner set is strong without being too large. If you have trees and tall hedges, you might prefer this pole saw and pruner that extends from 7 to 16 feet tall and comes with a spare blade and additional 7-inch folding saw.

Alternatives to Shop if You Don’t Have a Costco Membership

If you’re a gardening aficionado without a Costco membership, don’t despair. As it turns out, you can actually find almost every single one of these products elsewhere.

Teknor Apex Zero-G Heavy Duty Commercial Grade Garden Hose
$70

If a super-long hose is what you seek, a version of the Tekonor 100-foot hose is at Ace Hardware (alhough you’ll have to spend $69.99 for it versus Costco’s $49.99 in-store).

Suncast Hose Hideaway
$40

If you already have a hose, or want to buy the hose holder offered at Costco, the Suncast 150-foot hose holder is in stock at The Home Depot. This find actually bucks the Costco pricing trend — it’s $79.99 in store at Costco, $89.99 online, and just $69.97 at The Home Depot.

Fiskars 2-Piece Lopper and Hand Pruner Garden Tool Set
$20

To find a meaningful replacement for the pruners, don’t worry: You can get the Fiskars 2-piece pruner and lopper set at The Home Depot as well. At Costco, it’s $29.99 online and $19.99 in stores, and at The Home Depot, it’s $19.88.

Fiskars PowerLever Tree Pruner
$60

Costco’s pole saw and pruner is being sold online for $69.97, in store for $39.99. There’s a 14-foot tree pruner pole at The Home Depot as well for $59.98, and a similar 12-foot option for $48.38.

Orbit 3-Piece Watering Set
$35

Meanwhile, the 3-piece nozzle set is sitting on Walmart shelves (well, virtually sitting, as it seems to be online-only). It’s much more expensive than Costco’s — $38.79 versus $18.99 at Costco’s warehouse and $24.99 online.
