Costco Is Selling a Set of Extra-Large Wine Glasses That Hold 5 Bottles’ Worth of Wine Each (I’m Getting 2!)

I love hosting at home, and I’m always looking for fun serveware and glassware that people haven’t seen before. I don’t mind spending a bit on one-of-a-kind, silly pieces that my friends and family would be surprised by. Recently I was scrolling Instagram when I came across a pair of massive wine glasses, which I knew I had to get. In a video by @discovering_costco, you can see a set of two huge wine glasses that hold five bottles’ worth of wine, aka a gallon each, for only $30.

The Mikasa Extra-Large Wine Glasses are dramatically oversized novelty wine glasses. Each huge glass holds an impressive four quarts (one gallon) and stands 17.75 inches tall with a seven-inch diameter. These strikingly extra-large wine glasses are functional and visually arresting at the same time.

They’re made of glass and feature a scaled-up version of the classic wine glass silhouette. The eye-catching set, which includes two glasses, can be used as decanters or simply as decorative accent pieces. They’re also dishwasher-safe, which is a great bonus. 

Because a pair is priced at only $30, I’m planning on buying two sets: one for my home, and another to give to my sister for her birthday (we love gifting each other gag gifts!). At home, I’m going to use one glass as a vase to hold dried flowers and another as a decanter at dinner parties. 

I know these silly wine glasses are going to be a hit at my next get-together — people can’t get enough of them. One comment on the video said, “Do I need this? No. Do I have space for this? Also, no. Will I be running to find this? Absolutely.” Another commenter, referring to the wine glasses’ use as home decor, mentioned, “I think it will be nice for the wine cellar to put wine corks inside!”
