A Kitchen “Brag Board” Is an “Easy DIY” That Makes Everyone Happy
As a kid, having an A+ test or a piece of artwork magnetized to the fridge always felt great. The refrigerator was a gallery of honor that showed just how proud my parents were of my achievements. However, as parents know all too well, it can reach a point where the appliance starts to disappear under layers and layers of paper. Rather than declutter and get rid of the fridge tradition altogether, you may want to relocate it instead. Hear me out.
In a recent video, Tricia from Homain Interiors came up with a fridge clutter solution and dubbed it a “brag board.” It’s essentially an achievement wall specifically designed for perfect scores and art projects in mind. It’s easy to display, reorganize, and assemble with a single purchase from Amazon.
“An easy DIY that makes everyone happy!” Tricia wrote in a caption on the platform. “This is way better than a cluttered fridge, was super easy to put together, and gives my kids a fun spot to show off their art, awards, and little wins.”
How To Make A Brag Board
To create a brag board, Tricia used felted corkboard panels from Amazon, which come in a pack of 15. They come in a handful of different colors and attach to the wall using the included adhesive tabs, which can also be easily removed if you need to move things around. These panels are thick enough that you can use standard pushpins to display your kids’ work, and the set of 15 will only set you back $35.
“Omg, calling it a brag board is so precious! I love this!” one of the over 50,000 people who liked this post commented. “This turned out so cute!!” someone else wrote.
Make your refrigerator look like a fridge again and give your kids’ achievements a place of their own with this easy and fun DIY.
