If you live in a small space, then you know that shoe storage can be a struggle. Personally, my shoes are split between an unsightly heap in my closet and a jam-packed rack at my entryway, making my already cramped space look cluttered, too. (It’s also way harder to find the pair I’m looking for when I’m running out the door.) If I had to guess based on the literal thousands of shoe storage options on the market, you’re probably facing a similar issue.

Fortunately, AT editors have already scoured the web for the most worthwhile finds, giving a select few their stamp of approval. To make shopping even easier, I rounded up their favorites under $150 (so you can put the savings toward the shoes).

Bay Isle Home Rubenstein Modern Rattan 18-Pair Shoe Storage Cabinet
$180$112

Clear up a shoe-cluttered entryway with this stylish storage cabinet. Its four adjustable shelves can hold up to 16 pairs of shoes (even bulkier styles like boots or high-tops). The rattan accents give it a boho look, and the wide 26.77x15.74-inch top is a great spot for a catchall dish, too! Lifestyle Writer Jessie Quinn says it totally transformed her entryway.

10-Tier Rolling Shoe Rack
$90

If you have a major shoe collection, editors say this 10-tier rolling shoe rack is just the thing (it fits a whopping 50 pairs of shoes!). Even still, it’s surprisingly small space-friendly at 31 inches long and 13.75 inches deep. Plus, the simple, chrome-finished design assembles easily without tools.

Whitmor Over the Door Shoe Rack
$49$42

If floor space is seriously lacking, you’ll love this over-the-door option. “While it’s certainly a bit bulky, it solved nearly every problem other shoe racks had failed to fix,” says AT writer Marshall Bright in their review. It accommodates up to 36 pairs of shoes (all types!), in an easy-access design that’s not totally dissimilar from a traditional shoe rack.

Simple Houseware 3-Tier Shoe Rack Storage Organizer
$28$17

This stackable shoe rack comes recommended by editors and a pro organizer, so you know it’s good. It comes in two-, three-, four-, and five-tier options, though the three-tier is a solid size for most closets and entryways. What’s more, the sling-like shelves easily wipe clean and keep your shoes from falling to the shelves below. It’s hard to beat for under $20!

Yamazaki Home Tower Shoe Rack
$155

I know, I know, this shoe rack is a touch over $150, but it’s so worth it. The six-tier rack holds up to 20 pairs of shoes and even includes clips to hang bags or an umbrella at the side (perfect for an entryway!). The clean lines and compact footprint make it a seamless addition to homes of all styles and sizes. “It was super easy to assemble,” wrote one editor in his review. “It saves a ton of space in my room, since unlike most shoe racks it goes up instead of out.”

Rolling Shoe Rack
$85

Instead of tossing your shoes under your bed (been there), try this editor-loved, two-tier rolling rack. Its low profile, 9-inch-tall design rolls easily under your bed (you’ll need a little over 9 inches of clearance), a shelf, console, or entryway table. Plus, the shoe rack’s flat front panel keeps them cleverly out of sight for a cleaner look.

Haotian Shoe Cabinet
$128

The Haotian shoe cabinet has flip-open drawers to keep your shoe collection hidden, tidy, and easy to access. Meanwhile, the shallow, 7-inch depth is a perfect fit in cramped spaces, according to editors. The shelf comes in two-, three-, and four-drawer options, though I’d say the four-drawer style is the best bang for buck — and it’s still small space-friendly at only 39.4 inches wide. The mint green color way brightens up a dark entryway, too!

Tower Shoe Rack, Tall
$88

This five-tier shoe rack is so great, it was dubbed the Best Shoe Rack for Small Spaces during AT’s annual Organization Awards. The 31-inch-tall rack takes advantage of the vertical space in your home, and at 8.34 inches wide, squeezes seamlessly in tight corners. “The sturdy steel frame is surprisingly lightweight,” wrote one editor in her review. “This came in handy as I moved it around my entryway to figure out the best landing spot.”

Kings Brand Furniture 4-Tier Rotating Lazy Susan Shoe Rack
$100

This rotating shoe rack looks like a stylish department store display. It’s designed with four tiers that can each hold up to four pairs of shoes (depending on their style) and a flat top that doubles as a side table. While you’ll need space to spin it around, the organizer makes finding your shoes totally effortless, even if it’s shoved in your closet. Shopping Writer Morgan Pryor says it can even double as a nightstand.

Shopping Editor Britt Franklin raves about this sleek, six-tier shoe storage rack, saying it’s just what her home’s smaller entryway needed. While it can only accommodate six pairs of shoes, it’s a space-savvy way to keep your go-to styles organized. It also comes with hooks that you can fix to either side of the shelf for keys, bags, or an umbrella.
