HomeGoods has pulled out all of the stops for its third annual “Deck the Everything Day,” a celebratory day that falls on November 1 each year and is dedicated to the early holiday decorators among us. That’s because the brand is partnering with the beloved Hollywood duo, Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley, of the iconic ’90s sitcom Sister, Sister, on a fun campaign designed to help shoppers discover their festive alter egos — what the brand is calling their inner “HomeGoods Holiday Carol.”

As it turns out, the whole basis for this “holiday” comes from HomeGoods’ own proprietary research. According to a survey conducted by the brand, 63% of respondents think early decorating comes with judgment, which is up 13% year over year. That said, 45% of people polled actually would start decorating even earlier, if they could.

And that’s where HomeGoods comes in. They’ve tapped the twins to help them home in on a bunch of holiday decorating styles, or “Carols” in clever-meets-cute HomeGoods’ speak, so people can shop finds curated to their design POVs. The personalities range from “Evergreen Icon” and “Golden Glam,” which are all about classic Christmas nostalgia and glitzy finishes, respectively, to “Winter Whimsy” and “Pretty in Pinkmas,” a snowy wonderland/all-white everything vibe and a candy-sweet pink on pink look, respectively.

I recently got a chance to speak to the twins about their inner HomeGoods Holiday Carols at a New York City launch event for the campaign a few weeks ago, and yes, both are definitely early decorators. While Tia identifies as a Winter Whimsy Carol and is all about blues, whites, and snow-kissed decor this year, Tamera is an Evergreen Icon Carol and will be decking her halls with traditional plaids and a classic red and green palette this year.

In observance of Deck the Everything Day, HomeGoods stores will open an hour early to give shoppers extra time to fill their carts with merry merchandise. Starting today until Friday, the brand is also offering a holiday gift card giveaway on its Instagram account for a few lucky winners. Head to the stores ASAP because the best stuff is going to go fast! There’s truly something for everyone — no matter which HomeGoods Holiday Carol is your match.
