TikTok Is Losing It over This Gigantic Basket from HomeGoods
You never know what you’re going to find at HomeGoods. So when two TikTok creators walked in to do some treasure hunting, they were stunned to find the biggest basket in the world — and that’s not an exaggeration. They documented the find in a TikTok video, and the comment section is filled with both hilarious and brilliant ideas about how to use it.

“We officially found the world’s largest basket,” Molly from @IndianaHomeGirls on TikTok said in a recent video, with her co-creator Dawn adding, “What do you do? What do you put in this basket?” And when Molly said this basket is large, she greatly understated just how big this thing actually is.
This Huge Basket from HomeGoods Is Generating Creative Responses
People are obviously being hilarious in the comment section of this post. One person said they’d retake their newborn photos as an adult in this thing. Another said it must be for hot air balloon rides — why else is it that big?
And someone else joked, “My husband would still miss the laundry basket.”
But others actually had some good ideas for how to put this massive basket to good use. “I’d make it into a table base! That’s quite a find,” one person wrote. Another added, “Pool noodles, pool toys.”
“I can’t find a basket big enough for my son’s stuffed animals. This actually might just do it,” another commenter said.
Others suggested using it as a planter for an indoor tree, or a huge storage vessel for extra throw blankets and pillows, and a few people wrote that it’s just the right size for all their spoiled dog’s toys.
This basket may just be the next great HomeGoods white whale, because it’s nearly impossible to find a basket of a similar size for purchase online. If you love the idea of it for storage, this water hyacinth woven storage trunk from Bay Isle Home on Wayfair is a great alternative.
Check your nearest HomeGoods to see if the “world’s largest basket” is in stock. If you do end up picking it up, please comment on what you’re using it for. People’s collective curiosity is seriously piqued!
