HomeGoods’ Amazing Pink-O-Ween Selection Includes the Absolute Cutest Lamp
You might not be surprised to learn that Halloween decor is already in full swing in some department stores — and that includes HomeGoods. In recent years, it appears that holiday preparations have begun earlier and earlier. Admittedly, at first, it annoyed me. However, I realized that if I can’t stop it, I might as well get a head start on the decor trends. When I discovered this under $10 Halloween find (and recurring theme!) at HomeGoods, I knew I needed it.
There Are Several “Pink-O-Ween” Products at HomeGoods
At Apartment Therapy Editor-in-Chief Charli Penn’s local HomeGoods in New Jersey, there seemed to be two recurring themes. To start, there were several Pac-Man-adjacent ghost figurines. Second, rather than the traditional orange and black that dominate the season, the colors leaned toward pink.
One such product that caught my eye is a two-for-one find. It’s not just a cute, pink ghost, but it also serves as a moody, battery-powered light. It definitely leans more toward cute than scary, and I feel that it adds a touch of whimsy and happiness to traditional Halloween decor. Not all ghosts are mean!
Continuing with the colorful Pac-Man-looking ghosts, there were also some miniature, unlit versions of the larger ghoul. A set of six (which costs $14.99) miniature ghosts comes in both light and dark pink, seafoam, orange, highlighter yellow, and lilac. I immediately envisioned a little, colorful ghost community display on an entryway table.
I know, the pink ghost lamp is too cute not to snatch up (I’d be tempted to use it all-year-round, actually), but if your local HomeGoods is already sold out of both the lamp and the magical mini ghosts, you can still get in on the trend with this ceramic ghost lamp from Etsy. The baby pink ghoul is 8 inches tall and reflects the warmest light.
However, if you were more interested in the little ghost figurines, consider this 6-inch ghost figurine from Target, which costs $5. What makes the statue stand out from the HomeGoods option is that it’s iridescent, adding an extra delightful detail.
Suppose HomeGoods’ Halloween selection is a predictor of the upcoming holiday’s trends. In that case, it seems like ghosts, monsters, and skeletons are taking a more lighthearted approach this year with their light colors. And I’m here for a bright, happy take on Halloween decor.
