Since joining TikTok a couple of years ago, I’ve done well to remain “deinfluenced” from trending products. However, every now and then something slips by (I’m only human after all!), and I hunt it down until I get my hands on it or find a reasonable dupe. In an effort to not burn a hole in my wallet, I also make a rule for myself when buying decor or trinkets specifically: They must have more than one use.

Coincidentally, I stumbled upon a new summer party find (that can totally double as decor) during one of my nightly TikTok scrolls.

TikTok creator Kathy shared a video showing off these gorgeous clam-shaped cups from HomeGoods that also come in blue and turquoise. Each one has a lid that mimics the shape of a clam, which means you can leave it open to serve some tasty delights, or keep it closed to store any loose, tiny trinkets. At $4.99 each, these dainty cups can transform your dining table to a coastal paradise. Like many people in the comments, I am “obsessed!”

If you’re looking to use these as appetizer or dessert plates, they’re great for a mini charcuterie, oysters, stuffed olives or dates, shrimp cocktail, fruit salad, ceviche, dessert mousse, sorbet, and so much more! I also love the idea of filling them with candy and giving them to my friends as cute favors for a summer party, or just repurposing one as a ring or earring dish that would give my vanity or bathroom counter an ethereal touch.

If you don’t live near a HomeGoods, or your local HomeGoods is out of stock of these adorable serving cups, don’t worry — there are still plenty of similar options to decorate your tablescape for the summertime. These seashell glasses from Etsy are handmade from real shells and glass stems; they’re a perfect special-occasion gift, and they’re also more suitable for serving drinks such as wine or a martini. If you like the serving aspect but need more space, these melamine shell plates from Target are a more affordable option for appetizers, small entrées, or even as a centerpiece dish to fill with lemons or a candle. However you use these shell-shaped pieces, they’ll give your home that coastal vibe you’ve always dreamed of!
