HomeGoods Is Selling Gems That Absolutely Capture the Horse Girl Aesthetic
Even if you weren’t a “horse girl” when you were growing up, there’s something undeniably appealing about the horse girl aesthetic that’s popping up all over home decor right now. The trend features gorgeous artwork of beautiful horses, deep brown colors, plaids, and equestrian-esque detailing. It combines the best of rustic and timeless — and HomeGoods is selling a viral find that fits this aesthetic to a T.
The “horse girl” trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere — especially when the pieces look so high-end and are in a fall color scheme. “Spotted at HomeGoods … vintage sporting prints,” Priscilla from @lunaprisc13 on TikTok wrote in a recent caption.
These HomeGoods Prints Combine “Horse Girl” Aesthetics with Timelessness
One of the prints in Priscilla’s video is an Audubon-style duck print (like in Martha Stewart’s gallery wall). It comes in a simple black frame with a gorgeous green plaid mat. The other print is of a watercolor called “The Huntsman” by artist Joseph Crawhall, which also comes framed in black with a decorative mat. In a comment, Priscilla shared that these two framed prints were priced at around $60 to $70.
Both of these prints are posh and sporty, and feel like they’re made for the Ralph Lauren fan’s home (think: wood paneling, hunter green and maroon accents, warm lighting, leather upholstery, plaids, and ginghams). They look like they were pulled out of the billiards room of a 100-year-old estate, and a commenter said it best: “It’s giving Ralph Lauren decor vibes.”
Unfortunately, HomeGoods doesn’t sell its products online. If you can’t spot these prints in your local store, you can find the duck print on Kirkland’s Home’s website for under $53. This version doesn’t come with the plaid mat, but you can easily switch out the mat and frame if that’s a style you can’t live without.
Additionally, this printable horse and jockey print from Etsy is a great alternative to The Huntsman print if you can’t find that one at your local HomeGoods. You can print this version out right at home in various sizes to fit a frame you already have.
Call it Ralph Lauren-core or horse girl aesthetic — no matter how you slice it, these chic prints will make your space feel that much classier!
