These “Absolutely Adorable” $4 IKEA Gems Will Add a Bit of Whimsy to Your Walls

If you’re the kind of person who likes your home to express as much personality as your clothes and accessories do, you’ve probably experienced how tricky it can be to find furniture and decor that not only aligns with your aesthetic, but also fits comfortably in your place, functions well, and doesn’t completely break the bank. It can be tempting to focus on large statement pieces like floor lamps and sectionals, but don’t overlook all the small and budget-friendly ways you can add unique design elements. Even your wall hooks can be stylish, thanks to this fun new IKEA offering: the IKEA OMMJÄNGE Wall Hooks.

These wall hooks are part of IKEA’s OMMJÄNGE collection, which is “inspired by Swedish folk art” and includes colorful and floral-inspired decor. Made from steel coated in colorful epoxy powder, each wall hook in this three-pack takes the shape of a playful flower: one pink, one yellow, and one red. It almost looks like someone creatively unfolded a paper clip, although these hooks are much sturdier than that.

They’re also quite affordable; you get three hooks for $3.99. In classic IKEA fashion, you do need to install them yourself, but that just requires one screw per hook. (Note that mounting materials aren’t included.) Once they’re up on your walls, you can use them for anything that needs hanging: tote bags and jackets, headphones and charging cables, measuring spoons and kitchen accessories, necklaces and bracelets — even small plants in hanging planters. If you can’t decide what to hang up, these hooks will look cute and purposeful even when displayed bare.
