Many people know and love IKEA — myself included. Whether I’ve found a smart furniture find for a small space or a savvy, functional organizer, I’ve never had a disappointing shopping trip at the Swedish furniture and decor store. The only drawback to shopping at IKEA is that, like most stores, items are periodically discontinued. So when the best-selling TROFAST Storage Box was listed on the IKEA site as a “last chance to buy item,” I knew I had to share this simple but super-useful box before it was completely out of stock.

What Is the TROFAST Storage Box?

This small bin is simple enough to stow a variety of items, such as markers, crafting beads, puzzle pieces, and other sensory play materials. It fits in TROFAST frames, but you can also use it on its own or stack it with a lid. It measures 7 3/4 by 11 3/4 by 4 inches, and with the price point listed as a meager $1.50, they’re sure to fly off the shelves.

The TROFAST Storage Box is extremely popular among its purchasers, with many leaving their reviews on the benefits of this mini-yet-versatile organizing container. One reviewer notes the following: “It holds enough without things getting lost in the bottom.” Another reviewer explains, “We use all the Trofast bins for my son’s toys and they work great — inexpensive, utilitarian, easy to stack.” Well, that says it all for this tiny, functional, and useful organizing bin.

An Alternative to Shop if It Sells Out

If the bins aren’t available at your local store or you don’t happen to live near an IKEA store, you can shop the Trofast Storage Box on Amazon for a slightly higher price. Alternatively, these Elsjoy Organizer Bins are another smart pick. These come in a set of six, with handles that allow for easy picking up and moving around.
