Delft, The Netherlands - May 12, 2025: Sign Ikea on the IKEA Store building

I’d be hard-pressed to find a person who hasn’t shopped at IKEA at least once. It’s like the Disney World of furniture stores, with its sprawling showroom and massive marketplace — even the restaurant is an attraction in and of itself. But it’s the budget-friendly Scandi-cool furniture and decor that keep us all coming back to IKEA for more. The prices are hard to beat on a regular day, so when the store has a sale — it’s a big deal.

Like the IKEA Winter Sale that’s happening now through January 13. You’ll find hundreds of items from bedroom and office furniture to sofas, storage, and home decor at unbelievable markdowns, which doesn’t happen often (and IKEA Family members will save an extra 10%!). To help you take advantage of the savings, I took the liberty of combing through all the deals myself to find the best of the best. Keep reading to see what I found.

KLIPPAN Loveseat
$399$349

You’ll be able to snag the iconic KLIPPAN loveseat at a rare discount during the sale, which would be like owning a piece of IKEA history (since the KLIPPAN made its debut in 1980). The 70-inch-wide footprint fits perfectly in small spaces, and the colors are seriously eye-catching. It also comes in gray or black if you prefer neutrals.

If you're working with minimal floor space, this chest of drawers is a great fit at only 35 inches wide, and it’s surprisingly spacious inside! Equipped with three large drawers and three smaller ones at the top, it has room for big and small items alike. The tall tapered legs give you a bit of storage space underneath, too.

STRÅLA LED Decorative Table Lamp
$7.99$4.99

AT editors are big fans of the IKEA STRALA paper lanterns, and this stylish table lamp offers the same cozy charm at a smaller scale. The stacked globe silhouette is a chic, sculptural addition to any surface, and you really can put it anywhere, because it’s battery-operated! So you don’t have to go hunting for an available outlet. Plus, it’s cheaper than a latte!

RISATORP Wire Basket
$14.99$9.99

The RISATORP basket is a staple for storing everything from fresh produce and office supplies to your entryway essentials. And with its durable steel-mesh body and convenient, birch-veneer handle, it’s as stylish as it is functional. So yes, I’d grab multiple while they’re on sale.

TURBOKASTANJ Mirror
$69.99$39.99

Unexpected red, anyone? True to the theory, the TURBOKASTANJ wall mirror makes any room look more put together, thanks to its red pine frame. The frame is also surprisingly deep, functioning as a tiny ledge for small items.

STUK Storage Case
$13.99$10.99

The STUK storage case is a game-changer for small-space dwellers. The fabric zip-top case keeps seasonal clothing and spare bedding dust-free and scoots effortlessly under your bed for out-of-sight storage (there’s also a handle for easy access). Ventilation nets at the corners keep what’s inside from smelling weird and musty, too.

OLIVBLAD Plant Stand
$24.99$16.99

The OLIVBLAD plant stand is actually way more than a plant stand. The 22-inch-tall silhouette is sized just right to function as an end table or nightstand. The raised edges keep items from rolling off the surface, while the bottom shelf gives you extra storage space. It might be the most affordable side table I’ve ever seen.

VESSLA Storage Crate
$9.99$7.99

This rolling crate is perfect for keeping toys, blankets, and other miscellaneous items from cluttering up your space. Curved top edges make carrying them from room to room easy — but you won’t have to thanks to the easy-glide caster wheels. You can even stack them tall when you buy the matching VESSLA lid.

ESSEBODA Loveseat
$1,149$899

We’ve tested our fair share of IKEA sofas, but the ESSEBODA loveseat looks so charming with its tufted, rounded back and rolled arms. It features a plush, deep seat that you can’t help but sink into. And the arm rests sit low enough so that you can comfortably lay your head on them for an impromptu nap! It's a classic, comfortable couch that’ll never go out of style.
