Even though the calendar switched to 2026 at the start of January, if you were looking at social media this past month you might think it was actually 2016. So many flashback photos from 2016 have been dominating our feeds, and even celebrities have hopped on the nostalgic bandwagon — including beloved lifestyle doyenne Jennifer Garner

The multi-hyphenate actor, producer, and business owner is celebrated for having a gorgeous home that her fans love to covet. So one can safely assume that Garner’s 2016 kitchen demonstrated the same flawless aesthetic she’s known for.

Tucked amongst Garner’s 2016 throwback carousel is a picture of her in the beginning stages of cooking a rotisserie chicken. While there’s a bit of chaos happening in the foreground, your attention might wander to the background, where an absolutely enormous wall clock keeps time.

Her kitchen’s vaulted ceiling offered the perfect spot for this clock to shine, and gives the space a farmhouse-meets-industrial feel, paired with stainless steel appliances and traditional white wood cabinetry

Jennifer Garner’s Oversized Clock Is a Nostalgic Inspiration

What makes this clock so striking is its size. Instead of placing art in a kitchen (where it might get stained), you might want to consider a statement piece that’s also functional. A similar, smaller one sold on a U.K. antique site for just over £1,600, and Chairish has a similar one available right now for just under $900 that dates to the 1960s (this one is actually double-sided and can be hung like a pendant light).

Modern wall clocks of this size are hard to come by, but there’s one from Wayfair that might scratch that itch. It’s 49 inches in diameter and has an industrial, vintage feel, thanks to its metalwork and simple design. It’s not as large as the piece spotted in Garner’s kitchen back in 2016, but it could work well in spaces that aren’t quite as grand as hers.

Who knew that a vintage industrial wall clock would move to the top of your wish list for 2026? As Garner just proved with her iconic throwback, this decor item will never go out of style. It was beautiful then, and it’s definitely beautiful now!
