My little house is my ultimate happy place! I work in the interior design field so the aesthetic of my home and the state of my surroundings are very important to me. Before finding this little gem I was living in an apartment building and yearned for an entertainment space- somewhere that looked out into lush greenery. I couldn’t have gotten more lucky!

It’s a bohemian wonderland with a porch that wraps around to reveal a romantic hammock. My inspiration for the place came from nature, treehouses and earth tones but over time it has transformed itself into what reminds me of Miss Honey’s house from the movie Matilda.

The color scheme is simple and spa-like. I love color but tend to get sick of it easily so color in accent pieces works best for me. Every morning I wake up to birds chirping. It’s just as magical at night sitting around the fire pit under the string lights.

I live here with my 6-month-old rescue Chiweenie puppy named mouse who is a little jumping ball of joy.
