It’s tricky to imagine creating an even cooler version of a classic, but MacKenzie-Childs keeps doing it. The decor brand best known for its iconic hand-painted checkerboard pattern has just released a brand-new line of small kitchen appliances, so you can finally have a toaster or electric kettle that matches your Courtly Check teapot. These pieces are receiving rave reviews from those who have already gotten their hands on them.

What’s Included in the New MacKenzie-Childs Appliance Collection?

MacKenzie-Childs now has a two-slice toaster and a vintage-style electric kettle, both of which come in the brand’s hand-painted checkerboard motifs, including both the classic Courtly Check and the brand new red-and-ivory Cherry Check pattern.

The electric kettle is made from durable stainless steel, which heats water for tea, coffee, or cocoa within seconds. It shows you just how hot the water is via little lights on the bottom, and is toggled on with a simple switch at the base of the kettle.

While these two new additions to the MacKenzie-Childs brand are beautiful, the collection has been around for over 40 years. It’s so beloved that multiple retailers, including QVC, have begun selling the products so even more people can enjoy them in their homes.

And the stainless steel toaster, also available in MacKenzie-Childs’ seven checkerboard patterns, is easy to use and beautiful to look at. It features a simple-to-read dial that allows you to customize your toast to your liking, and even includes a preset defrost setting. The toaster’s retro shape fits the classic MacKenzie-Childs checkerboard pattern so well.

The stainless steel accents on both of these appliances give them a modern touch that pairs nicely with the shabby-chic-style print.

Besides the electric kettle and toaster, MacKenzie-Childs just launched the Wild Rose collection, which offers basically everything you need for hosting in a new autumnal, floral pattern. (The pieces come in both white and brown.) While the settings are perfect for a fall table, it’s an instant classic that’ll make any dinner party shine.

All of the new items are available to shop on the MacKenzie-Childs website right now, and you can even enter a giveaway to win a kettle or toaster in your colorway of choice. Just enter your email and phone number and you’re in! If they’re sold out on the MacKenzie-Childs website, you can snag the new items, including the tea kettle (in all the cool colors), on Amazon.

You’re about to be one step closer to the fully outfitted MacKenzie-Childs kitchen of your dreams, and that’s definitely something to get excited about.
