An interesting table lamp can make a significant difference in a space that feels lacking. A pop of color or an interesting shape can make a lamp stand out, but if you’re not thinking about its material, too, you may be missing out. Case in point: Mandy Moore has a lamp in her front entryway that, if Moore wasn’t posing in a stunning red carpet dress, would honestly have been the star of the show.

In a photo on her Instagram earlier this month, Moore shared a glimpse of her front entryway, and the lamp in the background was an instant eye-catcher. Although, at first glance, the piece looks like it might be ceramic, the lamp is actually made with a wire structure that’s then woven with raffia (natural ribbon fiber made from palm tree leaves).

Mandy Moore’s Raffia Lamp Is So Gorgeous

Moore’s medium-sized table lamp has a thick base and round shade that are both black-and-tan striped. You can easily see the soft texture that comes from the raffia strands.

There are a bunch of different artisans on Etsy who sell these raffia woven lamps, so it’s difficult to know for sure where Moore’s originated from. However, you can find a similar one in the same stripe colorway from an artisan seller for anywhere between $50 and $100, depending on the size and shape of the lamp.

These red-and-tan striped raffia lamps from Etsy are also adorable, featuring bell-shaped shades. This seller also makes lamps with orange stripes, black stripes, and solid raffia lamps that show off the beautiful neutral tan of the raffia ribbon.

Thanks to Moore, your hunt for the perfect statement lamp to liven up a boring corner, table, or shelf in your home has come to an end.
