She’s set to call Thrushcross Grange home in the upcoming adaptation of Wuthering Heights, but Margot Robbie’s IRL coastal California home (and Australian getaway!) is just as breathtaking as the two grand homes featured in Emily Brontë’s classic novel. The Australian-born actress now lives full-time in Southern California, and within the past decade, she has bought and renovated three homes with her husband, Tom Ackerley, in the Venice and Los Angeles area.

Below, a full look at all the homes that 35-year-old Robbie has owned since her rise to international fame in the early 2010s.

Margot Robbie Has at Least 4 Homes Under Her Belt

Margot and her husband purchased their first 3,300-square-foot property in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles back in 2017. The four-bedroom, six-bathroom home was built in 2016 and featured sweeping ocean views from the primary bedroom. The space is light and bright, with a loose New England aesthetic, punctuated by salty blues and more traditional woodworking. According to Homes & Gardens, Robbie sold the property for $3.4 million in 2021.

But in 2018, Robbie purchased a mid-century two-bedroom, one-bath Hollywood Heights bungalow, which she renovated while filming Mary Queen of Scots. Renovations included updating the kitchen, refinishing the home’s hardwood floors, and painting both the interior and exterior walls. She sold the 945-square-foot home in 2021 for $1.2 million, but rented it out for three years prior, per reports published by The New York Post.

Robbie also formerly owned a vacation home in Queensland’s Tallebudgera Valley, which just recently sold in July 2025 for $4.9 million. It’s a rustic spot that sits on over 7 acres of land and features a guesthouse, a cedar hot tub and sauna, a quiet yoga hut, a private creek, vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and so much nature to soak in while you’re there.

Margot Robbie’s Venice Beach Bungalow Home

Currently, however, Margot and her family live full-time in a $4.75-million-dollar home in Venice Beach that she purchased in 2019, according to an interview that the actress gave to Vogue Australia. It’s actually a compound-style property featuring three concrete buildings — a cottage, a two-bedroom bungalow, and a kitchen and office building with a loft.

In a 73 Questions video she filmed for Vogue, Robbie walks through the property, which also features a center courtyard with a dining area. Like her first home, the space is light and bright, with coastal accents (including two surfboards) and touches of blue, wood tones, and gold.

Grand estates are kind of Robbie’s thing, so it totally makes sense that she added Wuthering Heights to her roster. The cozy coastal vibes are strong in her interior design aesthetic, and as one person commented on her 73 Questions video, “Margot Robbie’s house looks like her,” they’re so right!
