Name: Mattias Wikman
Location: Birkastan, Stockholm, Sweden

This old store front is a townhouse-like apartment with a private entrance at the center of Birkastan, a trendy area in Stockholm. We fell in love with the space by accident when looking at another apartment on the same street.

This was not really what we needed, but we could not resist the open and large space. We got the chance to buy it and fixed it into a great family home that feels like a townhouse.

The space today is a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home. It makes a great open and social space that fits a modern family that wants to stay in the city but wants the benefits of a larger space.

The space is 1650 square feet large divided into two floors with its own outdoor space. It’s a unique space in an area where most apartments are traditional apartments.
