Meghan Markle’s TV Apartment Is Serious Goals
It’s official: USA Network renewed Suits for an eighth season, sans Meghan Markle. While we’ll find out what happens to Rachel Zane and fiancé Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams, who will also not be a series regular for season eight) when the remainder of season seven comes back on March 28, we might just miss their apartment most of all.
One of our favorite things about TV is getting to peek into our favorite characters’ spaces. If you’re here, we can guess that you’re the same way, so let’s talk about how impeccable Rachel Zane’s New York pad is. Meghan Markle’s Suits alter ego has the pre-war dream space everyone craves. So here’s how to get the look—even if you don’t have those drool-worthy Palladian windows and a wood burning fireplace.
Rachel and Mike’s place is awash in traditional white and neutrals, with touches of mid-century pieces. We definitely like how they add some edge with art and pattern. It’s aspirational, sure, but not unrealistic for a couple with their salaries.
Their eat in kitchen is has an edge with a retro fridge and industrial pieces, though the abundance of open and glass-fronted cabinets might have some running to Home Depot for replacements.
When your bedroom is open to the living space (through a dreamy archway—so New York), it helps if it’s all the same color palette. the neutrals carry through, but with splashes of color on throw pillows and a rug.
Want to get the look? Here are some pieces inspired by Rachel and Mike’s space:
The Willow sofa from Crate & Barrel looks to be a close match to the high square armed sofa in the couple’s gorgeous living room. (Psst—our Sofa Squad reviewed it.)
The slightly winged, metal legged Phoebe chair from West Elm adds some mid-century flair.
A trellis pattern is always a classic, and these curtains from Overstock are a close match.
A tufted wingback bed is classic and sophisticated, and this one is currently 75 percent off at Wayfair (only $306 for a queen!).
Notice that lovely bone inlay dresser in the bedroom by the window? This one from RH is quite similar.
The season seven finale will air on April 25 in a two-hour episode, according to Deadline.
