The $10 Michaels Holiday Gem I’m Buying 2 of at a Time (It’s So Cute!)

For most people, the holiday season ends up being more about hustle and bustle than relaxing days by the fire. As your schedule fills up, it’s important to remember to take a little time for yourself. You don’t need to take days off or splurge on something fancy. Even small things, like getting a little gift for yourself, can help put some pep in your step amidst holiday stress, and I just found the cutest seasonal tumblers at Michael’s that just might do the trick. They come in large 40-ounce and mini 3-ounce sizes, and they are on sale now.

The Ashland Stainless Steel Insulated Tumblers are a new collection of seasonal cups available at Michaels. They come in a standard 40-ounce size with a handle, lid, and straw, as well as a charming “mini” version that holds just three ounces. These can be cute for kids, but for a more grown-up twist Michaels suggests using them for a “cocktail or shot.” (It could also fit an espresso shot!) 

As you can see from this video by Collin Morgan (@Hip2Save on Instagram), there are many different colors, patterns, and cup styles to choose from. The 40-ounce version ($19.99) is the largest and comes in five different seasonal designs online, while the 20-ounce cup ($15.99) has three. The mini tumbler ($5.99) may be the smallest, but it has nine festive options to choose from — including red and white peppermint stripes, green glitter, and “elf suit.”

I’m not necessarily one to jump on every new or trendy item out there, but when something is fun, practical, and affordable, it can be hard to resist. Morgan’s video posted on October 16 mentions the larger tumblers are currently 50% off at Michaels (which brings the price down to $9.99 for the 40-ounce and $7.99 for the 20-ounce), and five days later this discount is still active on the Michaels website, which means you’ll save money whether you shop online or in-store.

Obviously, the main use of a cup is to hold beverages, but you could also use these tumblers to add some charm to your holiday decor. If you’re crafty you could even turn the little tumblers into cute, unique Christmas ornaments, which could also make great gifts.
