I live here with my 11-year-old daughter, my boyfriend (and idea executioner), two very patient cats, and one silly blind rescue min pin. I got this place a couple of years ago and gave it a complete gut job inside and out.

What is your favorite room and why? That’s a tough one. I really like all of them but I especially enjoy my main bathroom. The color palette is so pleasing and the textures and finishes are so fitting for anybody’s tastes.

If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? I would have to say the location could be improved. I would love that it be placed somewhere lakeside or tropical.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? I am always checking Craigslist for a new item to revamp with new paint and/or upholstery. I am so obsessed with it that I have an overabundance of furniture items I have revamped for sale. Turn over can be high here sometimes.

Which fictional character would be most at home in your place? I’m not sure but if they are anything like the real people in the world I have found most people are always at home in my spaces. I think if I was a better host they would never leave.

Any advice for creating a home you love? You don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a great-looking place. I have never spent a lot of money on my spaces but they always are so welcoming and cozy people just never want to leave.

Thanks, Tracey!
