This 105-Year-Old House Is Overflowing with Charm, Character, and Over 150 Plants
Jeremy Rebelo, who posts about his home and plant collection on TikTok as Plants Are Decor, actually grew up in this 105-year-old house in Fall River, Massachusetts — and for the past two years he has owned it. Jeremy and his wife share the home with their two kids, two dogs, and a staggering amount of luscious house plants: Over 150!

“It’s an old home with a ton of character; it has beautiful wood floors and beautiful moldings,” Jeremy begins. “There are built-in cabinets/benches in some rooms, and old golden cast iron radiators in every room. It’s a beautiful home.”
Jeremy says that the house was pretty dark, and so they painted a ton. “I knew with all my plants we would NEED to brighten up the space, so we painted the moldings and walls brighter colors,” he writes.
“As a plant-collecting maximalist, I’ve blended greenery and decor to create such a peaceful and nature-inspired vibe. It’s truly such a unique and historic home — it’s over 100 years old! I love plants and nature. It is very visible in how I’ve laid out my home!”
