It’s dangerous when I’m out in the city and have time to kill between appointments. These half-hour chunks are usually when I’ll pop into a random store that catches my eye and peruse the stuff on the shelves. More often than not, I have to talk myself out of buying anything, especially if it’s a cute piece of home decor. Luckily, my job turns this habit into a creative outlet because I get to look at beautiful things for the home and then share them with you.

One of the best places to find stylish home decor is Pottery Barn. I know what you’re thinking, and yes, you can actually find plenty of budget-friendly decor pieces and practical home goods at Pottery Barn. The brand recently launched its summer collection, so I pulled out a few faves from it, and I compiled them into a list of my must-haves, along with a few other things you should always have on hand. Whether your bath linens could use a refresh or you’re after trendy outdoor lighting, these picks under $90 will get the job done and look great doing it.

Conrad Woven Lantern, Small
$59

The great thing about this lantern is that you can use it both indoors and outdoors, which is handy for summer. The woven design will add a beachy vibe to your patio, and a candle will create a much cozier ambience than a bright overhead light. You could even burn a citronella candle inside the lantern to ward off mosquitoes — a two birds with one stone sort of deal.

Seashell Catchall
$15

How darling is this shell-shaped dish? It’s a steal at just $14.50, and it can hold anything from jewelry to change to mailbox keys. The distinct shape adds visual interest, but the catchall’s neutral color keeps it easy to style with other entryway table or nightstand decor.

Margeaux Shower Curtain
$59

Your shower curtain is the perfect opportunity to play with bold prints and colors because you have to switch it out every year or so, anyway. It makes just as big of an impact as a bold piece of furniture but for a fraction of the price and commitment. This one is new, and it has a super fun print that looks retro in the best way. Floral grandma couches might be out, but floral shower curtains are decidedly in.

Modern Marble and Brass Paper Towel Holder
$50

If one of your life goals is to replace all of your everyday items with things you absolutely love, your paper towel holder is a great place to start. This marble beauty not only looks elegant, but its hefty construction also means it’ll never tip over, no matter how hard you pull on the roll. And, check out that brass-capped top. Dazzling!

Hydrocotton Organic Quick-Dry Bath Towel
$35

Because summer is on its way, you don’t want to be caught with slow-drying bath towels that start smelling funky after a few uses. Instead, you’ll want to grab a couple of these quick-drying towels, which come in a bunch of lovely pastel colors. Made from 100% long staple Turkish cotton, they have a soft, fluffy feel but dry in no time, thanks to their quick-dry weave.

LoveShackFancy Pink Rose Appetizer Plates, Set of 4
$50$44

If you haven’t yet browsed Pottery Barn’s collab with LoveShackFancy, there’s much to ooh and aah over, not least of all these gorgeous rose-print plates. You can get a set of four for $50, which isn’t bad, and use them to serve salads and sorbets all summer (and beyond!).

Savannah Handwoven Seagrass Sorting Basket
$89

I have to mention Pottery Barn’s woven storage solutions; they’re just so much better-looking than your average plastic bin that you might use to store office supplies or workout gear. This one is handwoven from seagrass for a cool coastal aesthetic, and it’s divided into three compartments so you can easily sort mail, crafting supplies, magazines, and more. The wheels on the bottom allow you to easily pull the basket over to where you’re sitting and access what you need.

Fluted Tulip Cachepot
$60$42

Even if you’re not the biggest gardener, you can’t deny that this fluted planter is beautiful enough to make you want a flowering plant. It’s made from terracotta clay and comes in two sizes, but the colors are what make the planter especially enticing. Pair a pink pot with a white gardenia plant, or couple the green version with a purple orchid. No matter the combo, it’s bound to draw eyes.

Stella Cotton Woven Throw
$89

Even on warm days, you still want a good nap blanket. That’s where this woven cotton throw comes in. Its ivory hue matches everything, and the end tassels add a bit of visual interest. Most importantly, the blanket’s weave isn’t too tight, so it’ll prove light and airy enough for dozing on the couch in the middle of summer.

Mason Oversized Linen Napkins, Set of 4
$56

A Pottery Barn bestseller, this linen napkin set is a must for outdoor dining and summer hosting in general. You can shop it in party colors like “pink tulip” and “lemon yellow” and throw the napkins in the wash once your guests have gone home. They look way better than basic paper napkins, hands down.
