My Mom Swapped Her Heavy Wool Rug for This Supersoft Washable Find, and I’m Obsessed (So Affordable!)

As a shopping writer with a love for interior design, I’m always on the hunt for fun decor pieces I can add to my space. My favorite places to turn to for inspiration are other people’s homes — something I’m sure every dedicated Apartment Therapy reader can relate to. On a recent trip to visit my parents, I did my usual perusal of their home for any new and exciting upgrades they might’ve made since my last trip (they’re also big fans of decor and renovations) when I walked into their dining room and audibly gasped. After decades of the same rug living beneath our dining setup, they finally updated their rug — and it was stunning.
