Move Over, Leopards — Target’s New Collab Proves This Cute Farm Animal Is the “It” Decor Trend
Every now and then, a new animal climbs to the top of the proverbial interior design “food chain” (animalcore, anyone?). For years, it’s been all about leopards, but now, sheep seem to be the design world’s newest fauna fixation. AT’s executive home director, Danielle Blundell, even bought a sheep piece for her home recently! And it makes sense: Sheep’s fluffy woolen coats and barnyard aesthetic evoke the outdoorsy, cottagecore coziness we tend to gravitate toward this time of year.
Target’s new collaboration with Woolrich, the heritage outdoor clothing company, pretty much proves it. The limited-edition collection includes apparel, accessories, and most importantly, home decor, with sheep (which also happen to be the Woolrich logo) as the main character. After seeing the items up close in person, I can confirm they’re even more precious IRL. Target collaborations always sell out, and I have a sneaky suspicion that these whimsical little sheep pieces will go fast.
