This tiny power room makeover is full of ideas a renter could use, even if it’s technically located in a house that’s owned. For example, a bold wall color is paired with affordable wall decals that are removable (making it look like much more expensive wallpaper). Dated hardware was replaced (something renters can totally do) with a brass swan faucet and more modern drawer pull and towel bar. Out with the very old looking light fixture and in with a much more contemporary one from CB2. Even the mirror was switched out for a trendier looking geometric one—again, something a renter could do. A few budget buys and easy updates have totally transformed this small powder room for the better.

“This tiny room went from boring, all-white with bad tile to bold and colourful!” writes the designer, Camille Normandin of Living by Cami. “I used wall decals by Urban Walls, the wall color is “Wizard” by Benjamin Moore, the globe sconce is by CB2. The client’s favorite element of the room is the brass swan faucet (found on Amazon), which brings an element of whimsy to the room. Stepping into this powder room instantly transports you to a magical world!” See more photos of this cute room redo on Camille’s portfolio.
