This Snuggly Comforter Makes Me Feel All Tucked In, and It’s the Best Sleep I’ve Gotten All Year
I’ve been a fan of Sunday Citizen since tapping into my inner peace with their Crystal Weighted Blanket three years ago. The brand has high-quality bedding that amps up relaxation and makes even a non-napper like me want to lounge around for a few extra minutes each day. One in particular that brought the cozy, cuddly goodness I wanted when I climbed into bed was the Snug Comforter. Even better, it’s on sale right now!
Sunday Citizen’s Spring Sale offers up to 50% off sitewide on comforters, throw blankets, quilts, sheets, and more through April 14. It includes editor-reviewed picks like the Snug Cooling Comforter, Snug Bamboo Duvet Cover, and Crystal Weighted Blanket. Read on to find out why I chose the Snug Comforter from the bunch, and shop the full sale here.
What Is the Snug Comforter?
The Snug Comforter has two distinct sides: A soft and snuggly microfiber top and a bottom made from smooth bamboo viscose to help regulate your temperature throughout the night. I’m used to thick and fluffy comforters, so the denser, more compact shape of the Snug Comforter was a huge change. The comforter is also machine-washable, so it’s not high maintenance and is durable enough to last for the long haul.
Upon delivery, I nearly mistook my Snug Comforter for something else because of its size. The down-alternative comforter arrives in a convenient vacuum-sealed bag that makes it easier to carry and appear smaller than it actually is. Once I opened the bag, I was able to see the comforter in its full glory. Honestly, when I first saw it, I definitely assumed I was going to have to layer it up with more blankets in order to be comfortable. Spoiler alert: I was wrong.
Why I Love the Snug Comforter
How it feels to sleep under a Snug Comforter is almost hard to describe if you haven’t yet experienced it. I thought it was going to be extremely lightweight, but it applies a surprising amount of soothing pressure as you rest. The first night I slept with it, I thought the comforter was being weighed down by some pillows I had alongside my bed, but it turned out to be just the blanket itself.
The edges of the comforter are slightly thicker than the middle, lending the feeling of being “tucked in” without actually going through all the trouble. The icing on the cake was layering the comforter with a lightweight blanket during a cold snap — I never got too hot, felt safe and secure, and woke up feeling so well-rested.
I’ve been raving about Sunday Citizen products for a while now and this is just another favorite to add to my growing list. If you want the coziness of a weighted blanket without the actual weight of one, the Snug Comforter is it, trust me.
