Trader Joe’s Brought Back This $13 Beloved Plant Basket (Get Yours Before They Sell Out!)
Sure, chocolate and candy are always fun to get in an Easter basket, but you know what’s potentially even more exciting? A basket full of succulents. Trader Joe’s just brought back one of its best-selling spring planters just in time for the holiday, and for only $13, you can grab one for yourself, one for a friend, and maybe one for every plant person in your family. They’re just that good.
“We have this beautiful succulent basket,” Talia Heskett from Trader Joe’s Talia said in a recent video. “[It’s] perfect for Easter as a gift. I love it.”
The Trader Joe’s Succulent Baskets Are So Adorable
Not only do these baskets come with some of the healthiest-looking succulents ever (it looks like there’s a mix of Echeveria in each basket), but they’re also gorgeous to look at all by themselves. It looks as though the baskets themselves are actually made from dried flower stalks woven together that are held in place with thin pieces of wire. And to add a bit more springtime magic, the baskets are lined with burlap and accented with raffia bows.
“The succulent basket would be cute for a flower girl in a wedding,” one person commented on Talia’s post. And someone else wrote, “The succulent basket is so cute.”
Succulents are so easy to care for, so you can gift this basket to those who have brown thumbs, too. Just water them every so often when the soil is bone-dry all the way through, and keep the basket in a sunny spot in the house. You could even plant the succulents outside if you live in a hotter, dryer climate.
Head to Trader Joe’s to see if your location has the succulent baskets in stock and grab a few ahead of Easter. Chocolate and candy are awesome, but plants are so much better! They’re literally a gift that keeps on giving.
