As much as I hate to admit it, I have expensive taste. This applies to everything from candles to bedsheets, and yes, even bath towels. The only issue is, I don’t have the budget to match, which makes buying bath towels a particular brand of challenging. Bath linens run the gamut in terms of pricing, and because it’s hard to know exactly how they’ll perform until you’ve already spent the money, I’ve learned the hard way that a high price tag doesn’t always mean high quality.

So when I scrolled upon this Truly Soft Zero Twist Six-Piece Towel Set on QVC, I was immediately intrigued. Not only do they look extremely plush, the affordable $38 price would make my bank account proud — one bath towel alone could run you about $50 from other brands, after all. If you’re looking to upgrade your bath linens without overspending, I’d start here.

What Is the Truly Soft Zero Twist 6-Piece Towel Set?

The Truly Soft towel set includes two bath towels, two hand towels, and two washcloths, making it a great buy if you’re just starting out in a new place (or a thoughtful housewarming gift if you know someone who is). I see myself snagging a set for myself and another to impress guests. The 100% cotton towels are “zero twist,” which essentially means that the yarn isn’t twisted during the manufacturing process, which results in longer fibers that promise to feel softer, smoother, and more absorbent.

What’s more, the towels look luxe, especially given the under $40 price tag. They have these soft, wavelike ridges that I just know will add instant polish to my bathroom, and boost their moisture-wicking powers. There are five colors to choose from, though I’m personally eyeing the classic white to get that hotel look.

What QVC Reviewers are Saying

Average rating: 4.8/5

“These are the best towels I’ve ever had — the most absorbent, softest, and very pretty! I’ve been using the blue ones and ordered the white, which are being delivered today. They are absolutely cushy. Couldn’t be more satisfied.”frilly girl

“I am a towel snob on a dime budget, lol. I have to say that I love the super softness and absorbency of this towel. The color blue is perfect also. Will definitely come back for more!!”—TC2022

“I was looking for a towel set and was trying to find a name I knew. Never heard of this brand but took a chance. These are great. They are plush and very absorbent. Washed them twice already, and they are holding up beautifully. Please bring in more colors.”—lilbit

While there aren’t a ton of reviews, the Truly Soft towels seem to have made an impression on QVC shoppers. Reviewers agree they’re cushiony soft and exceptionally absorbent, and a few claim they’ve even come back to buy more colors (a great sign!). Others say the towels have held up nicely after washing, too. But the endorsement from reviewer, TC2022, left me feeling particularly seen. I, too, am a “towel snob” on a budget, so if the Truly Soft set has them hooked, I’m positive it’ll do the same for me — and you, too!
