Walmart Is Selling a Cute Vintage-Inspired Gem for $40, and It’s Great for Gifting

These days, you can find basically every type of item online. You’d think this would make shopping for holiday gifts easier, and in a way it does, but it also complicates things. Anyone you’re shopping for has the same on-demand access to more or less anything they want to have delivered to their home. I first spotted this Walmart gem thanks to an Instagram video by home decor content creator Danielle Lapenta Bostick of Fourth and East Main. The Yintiny Rechargeable Vintage CD player has a chic, white, faux leather design and retails online for $49.98. 

This CD player is clearly vintage-inspired, but it has some modern touches. Back in the day, you needed batteries for your CD player, but this one charges through USB-C. Like a classic boom box, the Yintiny has speakers built in, but it also has Bluetooth, so if you have a preferred or higher-quality speaker, you can have the CD’s audio play through that instead.

Even if it’s been years since you’ve knowingly listened to a CD, you may already have some in your possession. “We have sooooo many old CDs, and the kids love to pick which ones,” the creator writes in her Instagram post, humorously adding that “CDs are also sold in stores in case you didn’t know.” (It’s true; even albums that came out last week are available on CD.)
