Wayfair Is Selling a Greenhouse So Nice, It’s The “Best Purchase” One Customer Ever Made

As the weather warms up and  encourages you to move your entertaining and downtime activities outside, it’s the perfect time to invest in your outdoor space. You could add a new patio set, refresh your backyard pavers, or splurge on a backyard ADU like a tiny home or a cottage house. Right now, Wayfair is now selling the cutest colonial-style garden house that’ll bring some farmhouse charm to your backyard.

Currently on sale for $6,899, the Colonial Gable Greenhouse from Little Cottage Co. boasts plenty of natural light and a quaint coastal appearance, thanks to a Dutch door accessorized with dark rustic hardware and double sets of windows running the length of the house. 

Measuring 10 feet and 4 inches in height, 8 feet in width, and 8 feet in diameter, the greenhouse has plenty of room for use as a garden shed, sunroom, or even a light and airy craft space. Featuring a sturdy wooden shelf across three of the walls, the structure also has two sets of windows — non-opening safety glass windows as well as a set of working windows with half screens. 

With all its natural light capacities, the Colonial Gable Greenhouse is built for the elements. The manufacturer says the polycarbonate sun sky roofing won’t yellow under the sun, and the building can resist up to 120 miles per hour of wind, according to the website description. The material itself is also mildew-resistant, and there’s a ventilator above the Dutch door that’ll keep airflow going in and out even when the door is closed.

While the photos on Wayfair’s website show a white garden cottage, the wood comes primed and ready to paint in whatever color you choose. There are rods for hanging baskets included, as well as a floor kit with subfloor framing, plywood flooring, and treated runners. Keep in mind that you’ll have to install plumbing and electricity if you need a watering system as well as any lighting.
