Living room with white coffee table, brown leather sofa, wooden dresser and gallery wall.

As someone who’s lived in small spaces for years — I’m currently in a studio that just barely fits a full-size couch — I can confirm that my apartment is pretty much a constant work in progress. Just when I think that I’ve figured out the best layout or discovered what I think is the perfect item for a particular area, I come across another space-saving find that I swear will be even better. For one, I’m considering swapping out my bulky coffee table for this foldable one from Wayfair. I also ditched my clothes rack for this sleek, narrow Wayfair armoire.

Can you see the trend here? It can get pricey making constant upgrades, so I usually turn to Wayfair, with its stylish-yet-affordable lineup of furniture and decor. Thankfully, the retailer has plenty of small space-friendly finds, too, and even better, tons of them are on sale for Presidents’ Day. Since there are hundreds of deals going for as much as 70% off, I’ve rounded up 10 of my favorite finds that’ll help you make the most of your compact space.

Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines X Loloi Sinclair Rug, 5'x7'
$189$92

When you land on the right size, color, and pattern, a rug can make a room look so much bigger (and, not to mention, cozier). This one from Joanna Gaines did exactly that in my tiny studio. I can’t get enough of the vintage-inspired pattern and soft feel, and it’s easy to toss into the washing machine for maintenance. (See my full review here.)

Latitude Run Nesting Tables
$160$144

Another space-efficient find that one of our teammates loves is this table set, which looks way more expensive than it is. “These nesting tables were a great alternative to a bulky coffee table and were the perfect size for my sectional and to open up my living room,” said Katie, AT’s senior director of brand partnerships.

Latitude Run Nagle C End Table
$170$75

Simply no way to squeeze in a dining table? Wayfair’s got you covered with this C-shaped table, which you can use for dinner and to work from home. It even has built-in storage, which is one of the things commerce editor Britt loves most about it. “Instead of magazines taking over our coffee table, I can keep them on the C table, hidden in plain sight,” she says in her review. “The table moves smoothly between rooms, and it’s surprisingly durable and sturdy, considering I bought it for under $100.”

Bria Coffee Table
$393$176

When deputy commerce editor Alicia visited Wayfair’s showroom in person, she was impressed by this coffee table, which offers plenty of storage. “The rounded edges and rectangular slatted doors are a visually interesting combination that will add more depth to your space,” she says. “I saw the walnut version of this low-profile table in person, and I think it’s one of the more stylish options I viewed in Wayfair’s store.”

Another pick from our Personal Shopper series, this sleeper sofa is small with its two-person capacity, but it’ll give your guests a comfortable place to rest. “This writer’s friend also owns this sleeper sofa, which her large dog named Bumi loves to lounge on when it’s in sofa form,” says Alicia. “It has a standard depth and height, which made it comfortable to sit and lounge in.”
