Looking to add some new houseplants to your home or patio? Whether you’re already a master at taking care of plants or just starting out on your green-thumb journey, finding the right planters to complement your aesthetic is going to be on your to-do list. And West Elm’s collection of beautiful glazed ceramic planters is a great place to start.

This is a mix-and-match situation, so whether you want to set up a symmetrical display with multiple pots of the same size, or curate a quirkier vibe with a few different sizes and colors, your overall collection will still look coordinated. Plus, the “neutral tones” planters are all on sale for 20% off — so at the moment, you can snag the least expensive pot for under $40, and the largest floor planter for just over $100 (down from $129).

What Are West Elm’s Glazed Ceramic Planters?

These multi-size plant pots are designed to go together, but you don’t need to buy an entire set — they can be purchased individually, and you can pick and choose from the two colorways available. The “neutral tones” set has beige and off-white shades, while the “cool tones” set is heavier on the greens, blues, and browns. The “cool tones” set is also more noticeably glossy.

The planters are hand-molded and hand-glazed, and they look like it; the “cool tone” pots especially have a distinctive, artisanal appearance. Each colorway has four differently shaped planters: medium and large tabletop planters (7.5” x5.5” and 11 ”x9.25”), a shallow succulent bowl (12”x3.75”), and a small floor planter (13 ”x12.5”). They’re all made in Vietnam and can be cleaned gently with a soft cloth. West Elm’s site notes that they’re not 100% watertight — so you’ll want to make sure they’re on a waterproof surface, or use them for plants that don’t need heavy watering.

Especially if you can take advantage of the sale, this set is an indoor/outdoor gem that will work whether you’re planning a minimalist space or looking to fill out a room with a lot going on already. They’d even look beautiful empty — or filled with dry materials like stones or sand. However you use them, they’ll be a tasteful, attractive addition to your space.
