If West Elm’s Holiday Campaign Were a Real Party, I’d 100% Be RSVPing “Yes”

Ahead of the 2025 holiday season, West Elm has launched its first major holiday brand campaign today, and it’s a total star-studded affair. Featuring A-listers Brooke Shields, Alan Cumming, and Samara Joy — along with principal American Ballet Theater dancer James Whiteside, and chef Marcus Samuelsson — the campaign channels the spirit of the holidays through its nostalgic ’90s vibe and showcase of West Elm’s new festive decor collection.

Shot on location at West Elm’s photo studio in Industry City, Brooklyn, and produced by the West Elm team, the featured celebs were cast as themselves in “roles” demonstrating how they celebrate the most wonderful time of the year — whether that’s tree trimming or hosting a big dinner party. You’ll find creative materials from the campaign displayed at West Elm stores as well as on the brand’s social channels and website.

What to Shop from West Elm’s 2025 Holiday Collection

The best part of this campaign, though, might be that it’s entirely shoppable. West Elm just released hundreds of new products, so it’s nice to see a spot that narrows down all of the ornament, tree, and table decor offerings a bit to some of the most sparkly and merriest.

If you want to shop what you see, I hunted down a handful of the products featured in the campaign. There’s something for everyone — and every holiday aesthetic — in this modern, merry mix.

Red Glass Ball Ornaments, Set of 9
$40

You can’t go wrong with red ornaments for your tree or holiday display. Different-sized sets of these stunners were used to create a garland, which Cumming cheekily dons in the campaign.

Paper Quilling Snowflake Ornaments, Set of 9
$49

These paper snowflake ornaments would look beautiful on a Scandi-inspired tree or in a minimalist decorating scheme. They're handmade and sold in sets of nine, and they’d make a beautiful addition to a garland or wreath as well.

$49 at West Elm
Velvet Bow Clip-On Ornaments, Set of 6
$28

Bows are still trending for the holidays this year. So let West Elm save you some time and energy with these pre-made velvet clip-on accents. Every colorway available is absolutely gorgeous, and the dramatically long tails of the bow give these such a presence.

$28 at West Elm
Skier Wood Taper Holders
$29

Samara Joy was lighting candles in these cutie skier taper holders in the West Elm campaign. I’m not saying she’s using them on her holiday table this year, but she could be. They’d also make a great host gift.

$29 at West Elm
Grooved Stem Double Old Fashioned Glasses, Set of 4
$52

The holidays are the time to trot out your fanciest glassware. If you haven’t invested in a set yet, West Elm’s grooved stem pieces are bound to get the party started. The stacked design of the stems is super unique and substantial, which also makes them fun to drink from.

$52 at West Elm
Tannenbaum Stoneware Holly Platter
$70

If you don’t do much entertaining over the holidays, you might not need the Tannenbaum Stoneware Serveware Collection. But I’d argue that cookies for Santa, if you celebrate, would look mighty cute on the tree platter. One special piece is enough to make your home and tabletop feel festive.

$70 at West Elm
Punched Metal Tabletop Tree
$35

No one does a modern tabletop tree like West Elm. A bunch of these punched metal styles would be so stunning down the center of a dining room table for a holiday dinner.

$35 at West Elm
Pre-Lit Faux Pine & Frosted Red Berry Wreath
$149

Sign me up for anything pre-lit over the holidays — including this red berry wreath. It’s always nice to have one fewer thing to do with your decor, so this style is a total time-saver. You could use it on a door, on the wall, or over your mantel.

$149 at West Elm
Decorative Punched Paper Tabletop Tree
$15

Punched paper trees are the ultimate small-space-friendly decor, as they fold flat when not in use. The cream and brown colors are giving a very nature-inspired, elevated crafty Christmas look.
