This House Is Going Viral on TikTok for Having “The Worst Layout Ever”

An “open-concept” layout is a huge draw for many would-be homeowners. Being able to converse with people in the dining room or keep an eye on the kids in the living room while you’re in the kitchen is a major selling point. But one house currently listed on Zillow takes open-concept living to an entirely new level, and it’s going viral on TikTok because of it.

The house is up for sale in Land O’ Lakes, Florida for just under $500,000. It’s light and airy, but some are arguing that it’s a little too airy. When you first walk into the space you have a kitchen to your right and a spa hot tub area to your left. Interesting. And just off the spa is the primary bedroom with both a toilet and shower completely open to the space. No doors, no room dividers — it’s just right there.

The primary suite is also not its own room. It’s not only open to the spa area thanks to a half-wall, but it’s also on full display from the upstairs balcony. 

After the TikTok account @zillowtastrophies posted a virtual walk-through of the home on the platform, people took to the comments to theorize what exactly is going on here. “Designed by the legendary and world renown architect Tom Peeping,” one person wrote. Another added that this is a house straight out of their nightmares.

But a closer look at the listing explains it all: this place is located in a “small boutique clothing-optional RV resort.” So, any new owners can be sure that there are like-minded neighbors around.

There is a private mother-in-law suite attached to the open-concept home if privacy is something you’re craving. But this place is definitely not for you if you want to do any of your business completely alone.

Though this place may be a nightmare for some, one lucky buyer out there will definitely love just how open-concept it is.
