Aldi Just Restocked These “Classic” Storage Gems for a Steal
I am just now realizing that there’s only about a week until Christmas. How’d that happen so fast? One thing I do know is that as quickly as Christmas sneaks up on you, it’s over even faster. Sure, you can keep some decor around until the new year if you want, but by then it’s really about time to start packing it up. Putting away decorations is a lot less fun than setting them up, but you can at least make the experience easier with Aldi’s collection of holiday storage gems, which they just restocked after selling them in 2024.
What Are the Aldi Merry Moments Storage Bags and Boxes?
If you can think of a type of Christmas decoration, there’s probably an Aldi Merry Moments item meant for storing it. Each style of storage box (and there are many) comes in two different designs: red with green trim, and green with a white snowflake pattern. I’m a big fan of the green.
The collection includes a large, zip-up Christmas tree storage bag ($19.99), a round wreath storage bag with carrying handles ($4.99), and a rectangular gift wrap storage box with dividers and pockets ($9.99).
There are also two types of soft collapsible storage cubes: large, which measures 12x14x12”, and small, which measures 10.5×10.5×11” and comes in a two-pack. That’s not all: There’s a ribbon box, with spool-sized compartments and a scissors pouch, and an ornament box with dividers and a clear cut-away so you can see inside. All those are $9.99 each.
These storage items are also surprisingly versatile. Even if you don’t have a faux Christmas tree to store, there’s no reason you can’t use the Aldi Christmas tree bag for literally anything else. It actually has a very similar shape to this IKEA bag that’s great for storing clothes on their hangers!
Holiday Storage Alternatives to Shop
If you don’t live by an Aldi, then you’ll have to figure out another way to wrap your Christmas decor up. As it turns out, you can find some similar holiday storage options on Amazon, and these are all finds we recommended last year as well. The brand Handy Laundry carries Christmas tree bags ($11.99), wreath bags ($11.99), and ornament storage boxes ($13.99) in an almost-identical green with red trim design.
