Little by little, it seems like everyone in my family is becoming a Dyson devotee. It started with my brother, who has a family of six (including four small children), swearing by the brand when it comes to keeping his home clean. Every time I visit, it seems like there’s a new Dyson device on display in a room somewhere. But my family only makes up a few of the many Dyson fans that are out there. In fact, many Apartment Therapy editors and contributors love the brand, too.

So, I rounded up my top Dyson favorites — that I’ve tried myself — along with other staff picks to provide the ultimate list of must-haves from the popular home brand. Even better, if you shop Dyson’s Cyber Week Sale, you can save up to $650 on vacuums, air-purifying fans and space heaters, hair tools, and more.

V8 Absolute Vacuum
$590$300

If you’re looking for a versatile stick vacuum that can tackle everyday messes, look no further than the V8 Absolute, which is on sale now for a limited time. “For a full-size vacuum, the V8 Absolute is surprisingly lightweight and easy to use,” says contributor Sholeen in her review. “The design may be slim and sleek, but the incredibly powerful suction picks up everything from hairballs and extra-large dust bunnies to tiny specks of dirt and slimy onion skin.”

Dyson WashG1
$770$550

One Dyson product that my brother relies on for his full house is the Wash G1, a powerful floor cleaner that was released in 2024. Although it’s equipped with a water tank, it tackles spills, stains, and other hard floor messes without leaving streaks behind, which means that there are no traces of my nieces’ spilled juice boxes left behind for long. The cleaner also picks up wet and dry dust and dirt like a vacuum. The Wash G1 even self-cleans its rollers with every rotation.

Dyson V12 Detect Slim Vacuum
$730$400

The lightweight V12 Detect Slim offers up to 60 minutes of runtime and an innovative dust detector that contributor Stella relies on. “The essential appliance rarely leaves my side,” she says in her review. “I take it with me as I walk across the apartment, sucking up stubborn cilantro leaves and soil from my potted plants — which is easy to do, considering just how light the V12 is (just five pounds) and how comfy it is to hold.”

Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x Multi-Styler and Dryer
$750

Featuring sets for straight and wavy or curly and coily hair (like mine), the new Dyson Airwrap Co-anda2x uses powerful airflow to dry, straighten or stretch curls, and style. It’s equipped with Dyson’s Hyperdymium 2 motor, Bluetooth technology, and smart features that keep your go-to settings readily available. It even comes with six attachments that help with daily hair maintenance.

Dyson Omni-glide Cordless Stick Vacuum
$450

If you’re the type who prefers to take care of small messes as they occur, then the compact Omni-glide cordless vacuum might be for you. Weighing less than five pounds, it’s highly maneuverable, which makes using the vacuum seem effortless. “I use it most often for quick cleanups, resetting the kitchen and dining room after dinner, picking up the dirt that my dogs tracked in, and reaching tight spaces,” says contributor Riddley in her review. “Because it’s so small, I find that it’s easy to reach for, which means that I do … so my house is always shockingly clean.”

Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP07
$750

In my opinion, the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool is a year-round device that’s a must-have. Not only is it super stylish, but it’s an all-in-one fan, space heater, and air purifier that keeps your space cozy and comfortable, regardless of the temperature. I use the Hot+Cool every time I visit my brother in California (his house is always cold!), and love that I can use the remote to adjust the settings, including oscillation, from the comfort of the guest bed.

Dyson Ball Animal 3 Complete
$600$400

Both of my parents have pets, so it wasn’t a huge surprise when my mom got the Ball Animal 3 after spending weeks deciding on which Dyson vac to buy. The unique upright vacuum was made to collect stubborn pet hair without it clogging up the brushroll, and the complete set comes with extra pet grooming tools to capture hair from your pet before it even reaches the floor.

Dyson Gen5detect Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner
$1,050$800

It's not hard to see why the popular Gen5detect cordless vacuum rhas sold out before, despite it's steep price tag. Offering up to 70 minutes of runtime, this powerful device features a dust detect sensor, HEPA filtration, and a hair-detangling cleaner head. "I can attest that the Dyson Gen5detect exceeded my expectations, especially in suction power and battery life," says lifestyle director Stephanie's review. "It can take on my two-story home (rugs, stairs, and furniture included!) on a single run without issue when switching between eco and auto modes."
